Child Care Resources
Rockland Council for Young Children, an established not-for-profit organization, was faced with the difficult challenge of changing its identity. The original name no longer encompassed the range of services the organization provides. First, Applebaum helped clarify the organization's mission: to ensure that all children in the region have equal access to quality child care and early education services. With the mission clearly articulated, Applebaum developed the name Child Care Resources. It identifies the area of expertise, is broad enough to encompass a growing range of services, and is relevant to parents, families, and child care providers, as well as business, government, educational, and community organizations.
